Presslines Voicebank for Emergency Services

Police and Fire Service Applications

Most UK Police and Fire services benefit from a Presslines type service to provide information for journalists on a regular basis.

Historically, this was called "Voicebank" and run by BT.  Voicebank generally used more expensive telephone numbers to record and access the service and was eventually discontinued at short notice.

Like Voicebank, Presslines can be customised to provide callers with only the messages recorded during within a specified number of days and/or a maximum number of recordings.

Unlike Voicebank, Presslines uses the local rate 0844 numbers rather than the most costly national rate 0870 or 0871 numbers.

Presslines also provides enhanced call recording quality, as well as customisable notifications of new recordings, deleted recordings and other administrative changes.

Subject to availibility, we have dedicated numbers we can provide to Emergency service users free of charge to assist migration to a more user friendly and cost effective service.
