Presslines Signup and Activation
Signing up for a Presslines Telephone Message Line
Anyone can try our Presslines service by simply completing the free on-line signup form on this page:

A confirmation email is sent to the email address entered within about two minutes. The email contains details of your access code and two PIN codes - Administrator and Supervisor.
Simply call the Presslines shared access number (0844 824 3800) and enter your access code. You will then be prompted to enter the Administrator PIN code from the email to activate the service. When you have entered the password, the system will confirm the service is activated.
The service is then ready to use. Call the administration telephone number (This is 0844 858 4660 for the shared service, it may vary for users with dedicated numbers) and enter your access code and Administrator PIN code.
You are then given options to hear the current messages (there won't be any at first), to record a new message or to delete (disable) an existing message. Record a test message and follow the prompts to make the message live. The message can them be heard by callers using the shared access number and entering your access code.
Newest messages are heard first, followed by older messages. By default, messages are heard for up to three days, after which they are not played. This can be adjusted to suit your needs by contacting us by email, from the account used to setup the service.
In addition to recording new messages, you can select "Other options" from the administrator menu. You are then prompted to enter the Supervisor PIN code, for additional security. The supervisor menu allows the welcome message to be customised and changed to provide an appropriate welcome message for callers to your service, as well as the ability to change PIN codes etc.
